Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Sexletics product at https://www.sexletics.ca (apex sexletics.ca redirects there). Sexletics is operated from Canada. We do not currently publish a separate legal entity name. Sexletics is an 18+ athletic training product. Content is educational, not medical, legal, or therapeutic advice. We collect only what we need to run training, billing, and safety.

Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA, where it applies) and British Columbia privacy law give you rights to access, correct, and request deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions. Use the requests section below. Related documents: Terms of Use and Community Standards.

What we collect

Account: email, handle, display name, hashed password, membership status, and the age and consent acknowledgments you accept to use the product. Training: assessment answers, enrollments, session logs, and recovery scores you save. Journal entries you write. Community chat and reports you submit. Signed-in session records may include a hashed session token plus optional IP address and user-agent. Billing status and a Stripe customer identifier from Stripe — we do not store primary account numbers (full card numbers / PAN) on Sexletics servers.

Cookies, localStorage, and birth year

Signed-in accounts use an HTTP-only session cookie so we can keep you logged in. The 18+ age gate stores an age-verified flag, the time you attested, and the birth year you entered in localStorage on this device. Guest session logs, assessment, recovery, and journal stay in localStorage on this device until you create an account and merge them; some device-only state (such as favorites) may remain local. The birth year is used in the browser to confirm you are 18+. That birth year is not sent to our servers. Account age flags are booleans (18+ attested), not a stored year of birth.

Payments

Stripe is our payment processor for Premium and Elite memberships. Prices are listed in CAD. Taxes may apply at Stripe Checkout. Stripe handles card data; Sexletics stores membership tier, period dates, and Stripe customer/subscription status so we can unlock paid training. We do not store PAN on our servers.

Analytics

The site loads Vercel Analytics to understand which pages are used. It is a first-party usage metric, not an ad network. We do not use it to sell your account or intimate training, journal, or chat data.

How we use it

To authenticate you, assign programs, log sessions, host city chat, run the Elite written request queue, send account email, and enforce Community Standards. Stripe processes paid memberships (CAD, monthly). Safety reports go to staff; you can also email privacy@sexletics.ca.

What we do not do

We do not sell intimate training, journal, or chat data. We do not sell your account to advertisers. Progress is shareable only under your controls. Wearables are not part of this product. We do not use the age-gate birth year for marketing.

Retention

Account, training, journal, and chat data stay while your account is open and you keep using the product. Guest localStorage stays on your device until you clear it or merge into an account. We may retain safety records (age-attestation flags, reports, bans, and related moderation) as required to run an 18+ community, even after an account deletion request, where keeping a record is needed to prevent banned or underage reuse.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
