Recovery Is a Performance Quality — Not Optional Homework

Sleep, nervous-system downshift, and tissue care as co-equal pillars with stamina and strength.

Consent, respect, and the right to stop are non-negotiable. Standards

You cannot peak if you cannot downshift. Sympathetic activation fuels intensity; parasympathetic capacity enables multi-session weeks and emotional availability.

Minimum viable recovery stack: consistent sleep window, hydration, protein timing after high-volume sessions, and a 10-minute downshift protocol (physiological sigh + progressive muscle release).

Wearables can inform readiness (HRV trends, sleep debt) but they do not replace subjective recovery scores. Obsessing over a ring score is not coaching — it is anxiety in a shiny package.

Program deloads deliberately. Champions schedule recovery; amateurs wait until they break.

Put this into a training block — free education first, paid advanced later.
