Week 2 — Breath Sync
Co-regulation drills
Adults 18+. Consent-first. Either partner can abort with zero penalty. Not a performance review of desire. Print or share this URL.
Roles
Inserting / receiving / either — not gendered.
Inserting. Match breath before you add load. If their breath breaks, you drop intensity — not the other way around.
Receiving. You set the breath pace on at least one set. You are not a metronome for someone else's agenda.
Either. Either person can desync the drill on purpose to practice repair, or abort the set.
Warm-up · 8 min, clothed ok
Eight minutes clothed is fine. Face-to-face breath match, one hand on ribs or back, follow before you lead.
Signals
Keep slow / more / stop live. If you cannot talk, the non-verbal stop still ends the set. 1–10 stays honest.
RPE budget
RPE 4 cap. Breath is the governor. Broken breath means the set is over, not a cue to push.
Abort rule
Either partner aborts with zero penalty. Mismatch is data. Blame is a fault.
This week's drill
Two mirror-breath sets with a leader switch, then one deliberate desync and a clean find-each-other without a speech.
Aftercare
Stillness together or space — receiving partner picks first. Water. No intensity homework.
Next week
Week 3 is tempo matching — lead / follow switches. Be followable.
Educational athletic framing for adults 18+ — not medical or therapeutic advice. The session player stays behind Premium; this 1-pager does not unlock it.
